Over the last 12 years, I have been typically working for small tech startups, but I found myself always wondering if they had enough to cover payroll and other bills, which was pretty stressful to say the least.   I took some time to evaluate what I wanted for my career and work environment so that I could find the right fit for me. I determined that culture, process, and good people were at the top of my priority list.

In April  2017, I joined Symphony Talent.  I had heard about how culture was valued here, but wow, I was surprised at how great everyone was once I joined the team. I was excited to experience how everyone is helpful and works as a collaborative team. As a part of the New Business team, I have an incredible boss (Lana) who is a superstar in sales and leadership, and also has a great personality.  I think working with someone you admire and respect within a forward-thinking company can make or break your longevity and happiness. I’m thrilled to say that I now have both.

I also love working remotely from my home office in Orlando, Florida. My family and my job are both #1 in my life, and the opportunity to work from home provides a great work-life balance. I graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1992 and have been married for 15 years.  In the last 5 years, I started training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai, which is a great work out by the way. I am also a 12-year veteran of the Air Force National Guard. Working from home allows me the flexibility to enjoy work as well as the activities and family events that I equally enjoy. I hope one day to say that I have been at Symphony Talent for over 10 years! #IFoundMyHome #LifeatST
