ATAP: Source Effectiveness Guidelines

Recruiting is hard. But the right data can help.

ATAP Source Effectiveness Guidelines

Raise your hand if you've heard this before: "Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is I don't know which half." Of course, the same could be said for talent acquisition — and without defensible data, it’s hard to justify the costs a business must spend to acquire strong talent. In order to build a consensus and a standard framework for source effectiveness, ATAP assembled a committee of 13 TA veterans (including Symphony Talent VP of Client & Partner Strategy Debbie Tuel) to create a set of guidelines that will help you understand where to invest your budget, and whether the investment is working or not.

The Source Effectiveness Guidelines include:

  • Source effectiveness selection criteria
  • The difference between marketing and sourcing spend
  • Tips for understanding what metrics to use, and when
  • How to evolve your strategy for measuring source effectiveness
